LabLooper

A 2d puzzle platformer where you pilot different bots to get to the level's exit! Made by 2 very inexperienced godot users with very little time for the GMTK Game Jam. Coordinate your robots to open doors, pick up bots and save the world (not really) to get past all the levels! But there's a catch, you have to record a loop for each robot to follow your instructions! Make sure you come up with a good strategy, or your bots might just be going in circles! Only has a few levels but we hope you still enjoy our little game lmao.

Bots in the game:

ClawBot: Can step on their own colored pressure plates to open connected doors

WingBot: Can fly and pick up other bots of the same color as WingBot (Press and Hold Space while moving)

Controls:

W: Jump/Fly Up (for WingBot)

A: Move Left 

S: Move Right

D:  Fly Down (for WingBot)

Space: Start Recording Loop/Pick Up Other Bots (for WingBot)

Q: End Loop Recording 

How to Play:

You will play as different bots in a specific sequence given by the game. Press the Space Button to start recording your loop for your bot. The time given for the loop is shown by the timer on the top left of the screen. After which, any inputs you make will be added to the recording bot’s loop. You can then end the loop prematurely with the Q button. Move, Jump and interact to set up the loop for your next bot. Remember to plan your actions properly if not your other bots might not be able to move forward! Get at least one bot to the level’s exit door to beat the level!
